Dupre

John Kraljevich Americana is proud to present selections from the Archives of Augustin Dupre.

Augustin Dupre (1748-1833) designed several of early America's best loved medals, including the Libertas Americana medal, the Daniel Morgan at Cowpens Comitia Americana medal, two medals honoring Benjamin Franklin (Betts-619 and Betts-620), and the Diplomatic Medal, in addition to designing dozens of coins and medals for Revolutionary-era France. We are pleased to offer selections of his original, unique artwork from these and other projects, in addition to letters written to Dupre from Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin, and others.

Items from the Dupre Archive will be offered to clients by request and via retail sale at www.jkamericana.com/dupre. Hand-drawn artwork accomplished by Dupre himself will be priced at $500 and up.

Those interested in acquiring drawings and letters from the Dupre archive are invited to contact John at jk@jkamericana.com.
